Contribuições da metateoria estruturalista para a sociologia: um possível diálogo com Turner

A etapa contemporânea da filosofia da ciência – no que diz respeito à noção de teoria, a etapa semanticista – não influencia as discussões metateóricas realizadas pelos sociólogos sobre socio-logia. Essas discussões permanecem sob a asa das perspectivas clássicas e historicistas, ignorando completamente a semanticista. O objetivo deste artigo é aproximar a Metateoria Estruturalista dessas discussões, em particular de algumas das ideias apresentadas por Turner. Tanto a concepção de teoria, como as concepções de lei fundamental de uma teoria e de contrastação, da Metateo-ria Estruturalista, serão brevemente apresentadas, para finalmente prosseguir com a análise de algumas questões levantadas por Turner sobre a metateoria sociológica.
