Abstract

In order to verify the influence of container size on vegetative development of eggplant (Hybrid F 100), an experiment under greenhouse conditions was carried out. Containers of 5 sizes (200, 450, 3000, 4750 and 9000 cm³) were used. It was concluded that the bigger the container is, higher vegetative development will be, until the yeld by unit area is reduced. Eggplants require at least 4750 cm³ containers.
