The specialized language continues to show up in the daily newspapers pages, specially in the economics ones. The “economês”, as this special language was named in the early 1970’s, by the journalist Carlos Lacerda, is still present, with acronyms, numbers e technical terms in the economics articles of newspapers of all the country, endangering several features of the journalist language and making the reader’s understanding more difficult.Downloads
