The article deals with changes in "rural world" in Vinhedo, São Paulo. Besides farms and country houses of all kinds, some are now turning to tourism activities. The rural space is clearly being transformed in a residence place for the owners, their employees, families and people coming from larger cities nearby, mainly São Paulo. This means that the associativism also changes, as new actors occupy this space. Besides being revitalized, the rural world has now conflicts among their several collective actors particularly in matters like consumption x production, economic efficiency x ambient preservation, space for production x space leisure etc.Downloads
