This essay is about the atmospheric violence described by Fanon (1997) inserted in a novel by the angolan writer Ondjaki, entitled Os transparentes (2013). Tracing a parallel in between the Algeria and the Luanda represented in the novel. In our theoretical contribution appear names such as Homi Bhabha, Edward Said, Stuart Hall, Paulo Freire among others.
