By revisiting the problem of Smith's division of labour, starting from the two discourses on the issue developed in Books I and V of The Wealth of Nations, this paper aims to analyze this very notion from the perspective of Smith’s naturalistic and epistemological considerations as well as to highlight the relational and interdependent aspect present in the division of labour. In so doing, we seek to critically reconsider Smith’s “liberalism”.Downloads
