The review is about the collection of texts dedicated to three thinkers from the Argentine communication school. Organized by Guillermo Mastrini, Mariano Zarowsky and María Rodríguez, the volume reconstructs the biographical and intellectual path of Margarita Graziano, Aníbal Ford and Héctor Schmucler, figures behind the establishment of communication sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. In order to give deserved tribute to the pioneers, it is observed that the material recovers in detail the trajectories, but does not fill the lack of examination to understand the intellectual meaning of the referred legacies.
