Basic Functions of the HP Prime Graphing Calculator

Abstract

This material was created to be used on the Graphing Calculator Basic Minicorse for Engineering, ministered by PET Mecatrônica. The minicourse targeted mainly students from Escola Politécnica de USP, with emphasis on fourth semester Mechatronic Engineering students, who are enrolled on several subjects which require the use of graphing calculators, such as Fluid Mechanics, General Electricity and Statistics. The HP Prime graphing calculator has been growing on popularity among engineering students, surpassing its predecessors, such as the HP 50G. With that in mind, the Graphing Calculator Minicourse was updated and this material was created to complement the one already available for HP 50G, with the objective of helping student follow-up the course and also serving as course revision and study material.
