Abstract

This study intends to analyze the representation of
death in the poetry of Hilda Hilst, from her early works
until Da morte. Odes mínimas (1980), where the thematic
signifi cant installs itself in poetics of (dis)fi guration.
In order to delineate this hypothesis, the following
discursive masks of the death will be considered: the
feminine one, the animal and the double one. The catalog
of these disguises allows reading the workmanship from
the format of inventory.
