Abstract

The objective of the present work is to analyze the juridical context of Venezuelan migrants who enter the Brazilian territory since 2014, as well as to analyze how the political and economic crisis in their home country moved them in that direction. In order to achieve that objective, we made use of up-to-date data from official sources and previous research published in recognized journals. It was revealed the importance of understanding the specific context of Venezuelan immigrants in Brazil, taking into account the national and international legislation on this matter and the peculiar situation in the country they are emigrating from.
