Abstract

The youth category is increasingly entering the historian of the field as a research subject in recent years. The work appropriates crystallized discourses on the Teresina youth in the period. It is assumed that such discourse - especially those served by mainstream media - both favored conformation of social images about those young and fermentation of identity arrangements. Here is taken as analysis of subjects hippies in Teresina during the 1970’s.
