Abstract

The article discuss about the consequences of the choice by the economical valuation of the water, seen through the criticism to the neoliberal politics which guide the sanitation public policies, in order to decrease the presence of the State on the public services administration and its replacement by the private intervention. The private intervention is analyzed under the economical strategy aspects and the sanitation services acting, based on real cases of public concessions to companies belonging to transnational organizations like the Suez Group.
