Abstract

The 'Training Course on the Brazilian Reality', ministered to the youth settler of the MST Ceará, is a necessary moment of socialization of scientific knowledge to the rural youth. The course has been worked as a joint project, assembling teachers of the 'Without-Land Movement'- MST and the Federal University of Ceará State - UFC, having as axe of discussion the political, economic and cultural formation, treated by the means of lectures, workshops, short courses and cultural evenings. In all spaces of the training experience, there was a strong and important integration among young people, who get to know and recognize the world of agrarian reform. In the process, the Movement as a social organization brings to the heart of the university the geopolitical debate about knowledges that are inserted in the proposal of an open and democratic university, what allows breaking down and relaxing barriers to its access.
