Abstract

Review of a new edition of the first volume of the work Musical Education through the Keyboard of Maria de Lourdes Junqueira
Gonçalves and Cacilda Borges Barbosa (student book - 9th edition and teacher manual - 3rd. edition). This revised and modernized edition, the first in a digital format, is the result
of a research work by Tiago Batistone with a PIBIC Scientific Initiation scholarship under the supervision
and coordination of Profa. Dr. Ingrid Barancoski, professor at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO).

Author Biography

  • Fátima Monteiro Corvisier, Universidade de São Paulo

    Fátima Corvisier - PhD in Music from the University of São Paulo, graduated with a Gold Medal at the UFRJ School of Music. Together with the pianist Fernando Corvisier, he formed the Duo Corvisier, which performs regularly in the country and abroad. From its international presentations, we highlight the lecture-recital held in 2007 at the First Performance Research Meeting promoted by the University of Aveiro, Portugal; presentation at lectures and recitals at the universities of London and Vienna in 2013, at the International University of Andalusia, Spain, in 2016 and in Portugal at the Universities of Aveiro and Évora in 2019. Since 2004, Fátima Corvisier has been a piano teacher at the Department of Music from FFCLRP-USP, acting in the areas of piano performance and pedagogy.
