After revision of the literature, the authors present the clinico-surgical and anatomo-pathological data of a case of Sticker’s tumour with an extra-genital location. Experimental innoculation made in two dogs was successful in one case; the other dog died of an intcrcurrent disease, shortly after innoculation. The nomenclature of the neoplasm is discussed; the authors prefer the designation Sticker’s tumour until its histogenesis he satisfactorily cleared. Finally, they believe that spontaneous cancerization had occurred in the present case, because (as far as it is known) there had been no contact with diseased animals.Downloads
