Abstract

A total of 76 strains of bacteria, respectively: 26 strains of Streptococcus, 17 strains of Staphylococcus, 3 strains of Corynebacterium, 14 strains of Escherichia, 4 strains of Proteus, 4 strains of Hafnia, 1 strain of Shigella, 1 strain of Salmonella, 1 strain of Edwardsiella, 1 strain of Klebsiella and 4strains of Pseudomonas, violated from infected milk of bovine mastitis clinical cases, in the State of São Paulo, were exposed to the action of  16 antibiotics and 5 chemotherapeutic drugs, some of them at different concentrations. The results showed, that an association of ampicilin plus gentamicin was efficient for all strains tested.
