In Estilo televisivo e sua pertinência para a TV como prática cultural, a book organized by Simone Rocha and published in 2016, a series of articles seek to understand, through the television style, the construction of various themes presented by television products such as soap operas and telejournalism programs, which are part of the history and daily living of Latin-Americans, especially Brazilian people. This is a fundamental study to encourage other research on television style, still new and little explored by the academy. For this, we use Jeremy Butler as the main research basis and leave open ways that still can (and should) be followed in this area of investigation.
