A BIOLOGIA E T AXONOMIA DE ALGUMAS ESPÉCIES DOS GRUPOS FORCIPOMYIA E CULICOIDES (Diptera, Ceratopogonidae) (Heleidae)

Abstract

The author studies species of Lasiohelea anel Forcipomyia. Lasiohelea opilionivora n. sp. vvas founcl attachecl to the leg of an opilionid spider. The pupae and larvae of Lasiohelea stylifer, Forcipoímyia argenteola and Forcipomyia inornatipennis subsp. ornaticrus are described. The pupa of Culicoides bambusícola is also described. Forcipomyia obesa was found attached to phàsmids anel its description supplemented. The. allotype of Forcipomyia argenteola is selected. Specimens of Forcipomyia inornatipennis subsp. ornaticrus were found sucking larvae of Sphingidae.
