Abstract

The text brings brief information on the modern Brazilian literature; It makes a synthesis of the partner-cultural context of the decade of 30, when the great “viragem” appears in the letters Capeverdians, through poetic and literary depositions of the founders of the Claridade on the paper carried out by the modernism and by the Brazilian North-eastern realism.
