New combination in Glandularia J. F. Gmel. (Verbenaceae) for the Flora of São Paulo State

Abstract

During the preparation of the Verbenaceae treatment for Flora of São Paulo State, Verbena paulensis Moldenke was identified as a member of the genus Glandularia Gmelin and hence a new combination is proposed. The species inhabits southern Brazilian Atlantic Forest, in higher mountais of Serra do Mar and Serra da Mantiqueira.
