Abstract

The study of the family Cunoniaceae is part of the project "Flora of Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brazil". In that area, the family is represented by the following species: Lamanonia grandistipularis (Taub.) Taub., L. ternata Vell., and Weinmannia discolor Gardner. Keys to the genera and species, descriptions and illustrations, as well as comments on the geographic distribution and variability of the species are presented.
