The paper discusses the relationship between anthropology and literature, more precisely how they are problematized by the German writer Hubert Fichte, whose texts, fiction, are the result of the study of theory and application of methods of anthropology. Dealing on the syncretism of religions Afro American, the work of Fichte, from the seventies, it is called, by the author of etnopoesia, ie, expression of literary anthropological knowledge. When refjeitar scientific prose, the "etnopoeta" intends to question the alleged objectivity of researchers and utopian omnipotence of certain currents of anthropology.
