Abstract

In the psychoanalytic treatment of anxiety, the goal is a therapeutic relief. The end of suffering, or the appeasement according to Freud. This article presents the psychoanalytic understanding about the anguish in order to understand the place of media violence as therapeutic area. The suffering of neurotic anxiety suggests that the world is no more violent because more real, but precisely the opposite. Anxiety stages ultimately reveal the structure of fantasies, of fear, eternity, non-death, so much so that before the violence can be felt in another as been much closer to ourselves.
