La locura y los ladridos. El cinismo en las Novelas Ejemplares de Miguel de Cervantes

El cinismo grecolatino ha sido uno de los afluentes más tenaces y estimulantes de la cultura occidental al proponer una perspectiva insolente, antisistémica, satírica e irónica en contrapeso con el aristotelismo, el platonismo o el judeo-cristianismo europeo. Tal vez por eso mismo, su pervivencia en el imaginario cultural ha permanecido en los márgenes de los discursos oficiales filosóficos y se ha resguardado en la historia de la literatura humorística y satírica desde Luciano de Samosata hasta Erasmo de Rotterdam o Quevedo. La obra de Miguel de Cervantes no es indiferente a este transgresor influjo clásico el cual hace acto de presencia en dos de sus Novelas Ejemplares: “El licenciado Vidriera” y “El coloquio de los perros”, dos de los momentos narrativos más problemáticos y con mayor carga intertextual de la colección.
