Abstract

Social movements are a specific form of mobilization and of social transformation that differs from political parties and unions, as they are born and act within the most different social strata. Memory, on the other hand, is a social category that enables operationalization, widely used in numerous studies in the Social Sciences. This text is based on data collected in empirical research carried out at NAP/CERU in the 1980s. It recovers data on the pioneers of the movement from its beginnings in the 1970s until the mid-1980s, with the creation of the Green Part.
