O artigo propõe uma leitura integrada de O Filantropo (1998), de Rodrigo Naves e Cujo (1992), de Nuno Ramos, buscando analisar sua estratégias de estruturação em diálogo com questões desenvolvidas pelos dois autores em seus trabalhos realizados no universo das artes plásticas. Procura compreender as formas de opacidade que sugere fundamentar as obras estudadas aproximando modos de exploração da relação matéria-sentido e da noção de atona literatura e nas artes plásticas.
