There is an ancient suspicion that language presupposes a double, which would indeed be a betrayal of what it says. The voice of the crazy, of the schizophrenic, operates precisely the revelation of this fracture, enunciating a language capable of materializing its own fracture. With a speech marked by the shuffling of records, the boundary lines of the identifications become obsolete, as well as the concepts of reality and hallucinations, thus expanding the regime of truth. In its dissociative character, this voice is a promoter of the real, vocation similar to that of art. In this essay, we intend to think such questions related to the work of Rodrigo de Souza Leão, whose work has not yet been much explored.
