Abstract

This article seeks to recognize some points of contact and divergence between the travel narratives Breviário do Brasil, by Agustina Bessa-Luis, and Janelas Verdes, by Murilo Mendes, especially in what concerns the view that both writers have about the daily life of the natives from the countries visited by them, Brazil and Portugal respectively.
