In this paper, it is argued that the “Transcendental Doctrine of Method” is a text in that Kant examines the formal conditions of Metaphysics. In this section, he does not develop any methodological indication for the Critique of Pure Reason, which is a propaedeutic, but for the system of pure reason. Secondly, by the study of an indication presented in the “Transcendental Doctrine of Method”, it is shown that, although this doctrine is not supposed to specify the critical methodology, the development of the Kantian text is actually coherent with it.
