his paper presents an experience done at the Italian un-dergraduate course of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, which sought to work both with academic textual genre and contemporary Italian language and its varieties. The research is described according to two dif-ferent points of view: the teacher’s one and the student’s one, and it does not intend to give answers, but to share some possibilities of working with academic texts in Italian undergraduate language courses in Brazil.Downloads
