This text aims to present the abortion as an aesthetic experience in which a medial communication flow is interrupted. In order to show how mediality occurs in the body, we seek the possible sources of fear in the almost absence of mythical representation of abortion and we resort to a concept of “nobjects” (blood, sounds, amniotic fluid) to identify a type of relationship between mother and fetus in which both are not distinguishable. We conclude on the role of the body's converter to deal with the suffering generated by the rupture of the medial flow. Finally, the text opens for the need for further exploration of the subject, which is an interdict and is, however, tolerated in most traditional societies.
