About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of researches, design and studies on landscape architecture in its several fields of activities, from garden design to plans of open spaces, from studies about history of landscape design to experiences of teaching, from academic researches of several bearings to results of scientific events, from theoretical works to book reviews.
It has special focus on the urban open spaces, the environmental issue, the teaching and the landscape design, and the urban form, the theoretical foundations and research on landscape design.
This academic journal is a biannual publication of FAUUSP – Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo – and is linked to the Laboratory Quapá -Quadro do Paisagismo no Brasil –, to the Laboratory LAPPARC - Paisagem, Arte e Cultura –, to GDPA - Grupo de Disciplinas Paisagem e Ambiente – of Department of Projeto and to the graduate course in Architecture and Urbanism of FAUUSP, concentration area of Landscape and Environment.

Journal History
Initially an annual publication by FAUUSP, in association with the Landscape and Environment Group of Disciplines (GDPA), the Landscape and Environment concentration area of the FAUUSP Post-Graduation Program, the Landscape Laboratory (LABPA) and the Art, Landscape and Culture Laboratory (LABARC). Its first number was edited in 1986, and the 26th is being printed at the present time.
