Abstract

During analysis of the site GO-RV-06, trying to contextualize it in the regional archaeological panorama, came to motivation to retake themes of Aratu tradition. Using bibliographic sources, we have developed a model that seeks to interpret the scattering processes of groups with this tradition through the territory, raising the existence of a central development zone, with old dates, to the detriment of peripheral zones. We have also tried to bring, still, the understanding of the environmental context of insertion of sites, corroborating, through the construction of a database, with the chance of a standart settlement that associates Aratu locations to areas ofecological tension. The cross between the data produced allowed to infer about territorial management strategies and their influence on the processes of dispersion.
