The paper aims at the publication and analysis of some painted inscriptions on amphorae found in Britain. They are studied and discussed in terms of their historic and paleographic characteristics. The author concludes with a brief discussion of Spanish olive-oil and olive consumption as the materialization of a state-sponsored lifestyle.Downloads
