Our theoretical approach on patrimony is based on the Ticuna mithology as expression of the immaterial legacy of this culture. We intend to show the relation between symbolic values of the ethnic goods of the Maguta Museum and myths and also to clarify the material dimension as support of the immaterial dimension. The Maguta Museum was visited by public teachers of the town of Benjamim Constant – Amazonas State, Brazil. The methodology focused heritage of the Ticuna ethnic group in order to improve knowledge and to develop tolerance through the perception of the cultural diversity of the region surrounded by two other countries (Alto Solimões).Downloads
