The aim of this article is to present a new dating for the Wep-wawet relief block from Lisht, nowadays in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, based in a diversified set of elements of material culture and of iconographical nature from which a comparison shows a possible 3rd dynasty elaboration. Founding the present study on a diachronistic and synchronistic analysis of the Old Kingdom Art, we attain an earlier dating former to the one presented by Hans Goedicke in his work on Lisht image blocks.Downloads
