Abstract

This article offers a discussion about the space in its several meanings. First, we discuss the definition of the space in itself, and how the theme has been handled in literature, specially in Archaeology. Next we make a discussion about the foundations of spatial organization. The last part addresses the discussion of architectonic space and cultural elements responsible for their organization.
