Assistência ao educando: pré-escola, merenda e saúde escolar

Abstract

Stemning form his academic researches, the author develops the theme of student assistance. Pre-school was the theme of his master thesis and free school lunch of his doctorate. His post-doctorate will deal with health and educational macro-planning as central preoccupation the failure in school, he develops in a critical fashion the role of palliative and its antidotes. He tries to present in a down to earth manner the role of free school lunch and defend is practice with a three-fold aim: biological, assistencial, and educational. He comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to integrate professionals from the areas of education and health in an interdisciplinary and multi professional effort commited to the guarantee of the rights of citiyens. The author suggests the realization of studies to approximate education and health, pedagogy and medicine, paramedics and education workers, professionals and researchers from these two areas often neglected in establishment of government priorities.
