Abstract

This article analyses the material published in Jornal do Professor, the official paper of Teacher Center of São Paulo (Centro do Professorado Paulista), between 1982 and 1988, dealing with the democratization of public schools, specially through the Deliberative Council of Schools (Conselho de Escola Deliberativo) using the concept of representation proposed by Lefebvre (1983).
