Abstract

This essay presents na explanation why the curriculum theory did not appear in the german education at the end of nineteenth century and beginings of twenties, since it already had the phislosophic and scientific foundation, on that time, to grasp it. The curriculum theory in deed emerged in North America becoming framework to industrial production and to the education of its employees. Contrasting to that panorama, german education forwarded a proposal, following the ideas of George Kerschensteiner and concerning to child feelings, thinking and necessities. Other wise the influence of American education about curriculum development on Latin American has been notorious, what suggests the searching of new curriculum design.
