Abstract

This text analyses the meaning of the appearance and publication of Anuários de Ensino do Estado de São Paulo in the history of educational press, questioning about the role that was attributed to them and about their effective role in the organization of the educational field in São Paulo, in the beginning of the century. The logic of the production in the Year Books is re-interpretated and its proposals for creation and circulation are understood as specific forms of the organization of the educators professional space.
