Abstract

Writing the history of the knowledges and memories that surround the candomblé angola is to condense the patrimony, bringing alone the natural and the cultural in a unique narrative that invests, above all, in the transmission and reception of knowledge produced by an experience of centuries. Thus, the work is composed mainly of the analysis of meanings, which, on its turn, are possible to trigger through traditional knowledge. Part of the discussion is centered on the recognition of knowledge as techniques that involve teaching-learning processes. The text also seeks to bring to the center of the discussion the formation of an identity. In this sense, it is considered that knowledge is endowed with cultural references and situated within a worldview. It intends to highlight some of this pedagogy of traditional knowledge, constituents of the religious identity of candomblé angola, detailing a case study carried out in a community of the terreiro Nzo Nkise Nzazi, located in the municipality of Araquari, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
