Abstract

In Mozambique, as in other parts of Africa, the yoke tax to the populations through the European settling acted as one of the primordial causes for the unchaining of the movements of decolonization and independence. This article deals with the participation that women of the agricultural and urban zone had had in the movement of national release of this country, as well as some of its impacts, from the interviews with former-combatants carried through for the magazine Time.
