Reflexões sobre a implementação da Lei nº 10.639/03: a educação das relações étnico-raciais na área das Ciências Humanas

Abstract

The teachers training has been one of the major challenges for implementation of Law 10.639/03. One of the difficulties noted in this process is the desperation of teacher to apply, in their teaching practice, the knowledge they acquired in training. This article proposes some reflections about education of ethnic and racial relations in Humanities. These reflections does not intend to bring “prescriptions”, but to promote an expanded discussion about the subject, from some daily school events themselves, offering many different thematic options which may be studied in many different disciplines in this area.
