Abstract

The specificity of comic book translation is an impotence: to deal with a text, understood in the broadest sense, that weaves images and words, being allowed only to change the words. This essay attempts to shed some light, albeit obscure, on this quandary by telling and showing an exceptional experience: that of having an author willing to redesign his text to make a translator happy.
