This paper aims at discussing the relationship between Roland Barthes' questioning of authorship and Émile Benveniste’s enunciation concept. In this article, we consider that there is an echo between the two ideas and that Barthes has grounded his discussion of authorship on the linguistic destruction of the subject to revalidate the image of the author in writing.Downloads
